Staff

Teaching staff

We have 7 fully qualified teachers, a house parent and 2 nursery assistants.

Our part-time teaching staff consists of: a Special Needs teacher, a French teacher, a Spanish teacher, 2 Music teachers, a ICT teacher, 2 Sports coaches and a Speech/Drama teacher

Non Teaching staff

2 cooks and 1 full time cleaner.


Teaching staff profiles

Eveline Drut - Head Teacher

Eveline graduated as a Primary school teacher from Maria Grey College. She has LAMDA diploma in Speech and Drama, LLAM, LGAM (Hons)

She is Neuro Linguistic Trainer and has over 20 years in experience in both France and England.

Eveline has run the school for 18 years.

   

Gillian Tomlins-Young - Deputy Head

Gillian has BA(QTS) Primary Degree (honours)

Gillian has been working for the Eveline Day School for over 10 years.

Gillian was promoted to Deputy Head in Sept 2007.

 

 

Emma DeGale - Year Two and Three

Emma graduated as a primary school teacher from Roehampton University.

She has twenty years teaching experience with ten of those spent teaching in Zimbabwe.

She joined the staff at Eveline Day School in July 1994 after completing her Clait 2 Computer Technology Certificate.

During her time at Eveline Day School she has had teaching experience with a number of different age groups from Year 2 to Year 4.

 

Jenni-Lee Speirs - Upper Reception Teacher

Jenni who is South African, graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth in 2004 with a Bachelor of Education Degree in Foundation Phase.

During her first seven months in London, Jenni worked as a supply teacher at various London schools and has taught children from nursery to Year 6.

Jenni joined Eveline Day School in September 2005 to teach Year One class.

 

Joannie Clark - Assistant

Joannie has the BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies.

She joined Eveline Day School July 07.

Joannie is working in our Upper Reception Class and is currently studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.

 

Rosalyn Turner - House Parent

Rosalyn has been working for the Eveline Day Nursery Schools for 23 years. She has managed the Seely Hall and Geraldine Road branch before joining the school as House Parent. Her role involves the day to day running of the school from a non teaching prospective.

Her qualifications includes

  • PPA.
  • BTEC in Nursery Nursery Certificate
  • BTEC in Management Studies Certificate
  • Clait 2 Computer Technology Certificate
  • City Guild 924 in Training Trainees Certificate.
  • Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene.
 

Angela Giuliani (Special Needs Consultant)

Angela has twenty seven years experience in education, both as a class teacher in mainstream and special schools.

She has senior management experience as the Deputy Teacher - in - charge of a team of learning support teachers.

For the past eight years she has worked as an independent consultant in both state and private schools.

Angela is committed to developing the potential of pupils and enabling them to experience greater success in all aspects of their school life

Working closely with both teachers, Angela is passionate about how children learn and how to create the optimal learning states.

Angela has a post graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology. Is a Neuro-Linguistic-Programming Practioner, has a diploma in Performance Coaching (for Business) and holds an accredited Diploma as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. She is a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

 

Blanche Keaveney (ICT Consultant)

Blanche joined the Eveline Day School in 2004 having considerable experience in the IT industry.

As Head of IT at the Institute of Directors, Blanche designed and implemented training strategies for several organisations. Blanche also developed and delivered training programmes relating to all aspects of Information Technology including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, data modelling, and presentation packages, as well as business applications such as finance, HR, marketing and publishing.

Blanche has now formed IT Spirit Consultancy and continues to develop and deliver training/teaching programmes tailored specifically to meet the needs of private clients.
