EDS belongs to Wandsworth Music Services where every child in KS2 learns to play an instrument: double bass, ‘cello, viola or violin.

 

The students are taught weekly, in small groups. They attend with their instrument and play together for an hour in our orchestra. EDS form part of the Wandsworth Strings Orchestra who perform annually at the Mayors Parlour, the Royal Festival Hall and Fairfield Halls.

We also participate in the Wandsworth Vocal Projects, performing at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall.

EDS has received a music award from MUSIC MARK for their dedication and outstanding achievements in music.
